BYORCA Privacy Policy

BYORCA ("we") operates internal analytics tooling at analytics.byorca.co for content creators who partner with us. This policy describes what data our application accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

The application uses YouTube API Services. By using the application you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, as stated in our Terms of Use. Google's own handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What we access

When a partnered creator connects their YouTube channel through Google sign-in, our application requests read-only access to:

• YouTube Analytics data for the connected channel (views, watch time, impressions, click-through rates, audience retention, and similar performance metrics), via the YouTube Analytics and YouTube Reporting APIs;
• Monetary YouTube Analytics data (estimated revenue metrics) for the connected channel;
• Basic channel information (channel name and ID), used solely to confirm which channel was connected.

We do not request access to upload, modify, or delete any content, and we cannot act on a connected account.

Separately from that connection, the application stores public comments on the videos of channels we manage, including the commenter's display name and channel ID, to summarise audience response for the creator. Comment text is removed within 30 days of a comment being deleted or hidden on YouTube.

How we use it

Connected data is used exclusively to power private performance dashboards and internal reporting shared between BYORCA and the creator who connected the channel. We do not sell data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train machine-learning models.

Google API Services compliance

BYORCA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage, retention and security

Authorization tokens and analytics data are stored in access-controlled databases used only by BYORCA's internal systems. Tokens are never displayed, logged, or shared. Access to dashboards is password-protected.

We keep a connected channel's tokens and analytics data until you ask us to delete them. Revoking access stops this application reading your channel, but does not by itself delete data already stored. There is no automatic expiry — ask us and we will delete it.

Cookies

The dashboards at analytics.byorca.co set a sign-in cookie on your browser so you stay signed in between pages. It holds no YouTube data. We set no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third party sets cookies through this application.

Revoking access

You can revoke our application's access at any time from the Google security settings page at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions, or from myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately stops this application from reading your channel through the Google APIs covered by that consent. On request we will also delete the stored tokens and analytics data we already hold — contact us at the address below.
